The Face Behind it All
Meet the Brains of the Operation
Shelsy T. is a Philadelphia native. She started dabbling with fashion at the age of 11, mostly doing hand sewing and recycling old garments to invent creative styles. Shelsy furthered her interest and passion in the fine arts with a Bachelor of Science degree in fashion design from Philadelphia University (PhilaU) - now known as Jefferson U. At PhilaU, she collaborated with the model club and presented her first mini evening/cocktail collection. From that point on, Shelsy has continually found ways to break into the industry. Some of her previous shows included RTW Fashion Week and WALK Fashion Show, Taste of the Runway, and New York Fashion Week.
Outside of
the design field, Shelsy is also a model, dancer, choreographer, and
actress. Starting as young girl, she was always involved in the
performing arts. Her goal was "to become a household name both in
fashion and broadway". Throughout her years studying the arts and
fashion, Shelsy believes that Philadelphia still has miles to go before
it can truly make a difference in the creative industries. That's why
she started T.t Entertainment - so fellow creatives can not only connect
but also build their brand within the Tri-state area and beyond.
